- 20g Butter
- 1 Red onion, sliced
- 1 tsp Brown sugar
- 4 heaped tsp Bisto onion gravy granules
- 330ml Water, boiling
- Melt butter in a pan over a medium heat and add the red onions.
- Fry for 10 mins until soft.
- Add the sugar and fry for another 10 minutes on a low heat until caramelised and sticky.
- In a measuring jug, make up the onion gravy according to packet instructions.
- Add to the onions and stir to combine then serve.
